FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS LIP PRODUCTS

Can you believe that the year is already coming to an end? I feel like 2017 just started and here we are celebrating another Christmas and waiting for a new year to begin. I just need time to slow down a bit so I can catch up, it's moving way to quickly.

I'm not the biggest fan of coloured lip products, I tend to stick to neutral and brown shades but since it's the Christmas season why not change things up a bit and show you three red lip products that actually goes well with my skin colour.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick (LAX) - I have gotten so many compliments when wearing this liquid lipstick, it's a very very deep red colour that looks amazing on my skin.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick (Creeper) - At one point I hated bright red lipsticks but I don't know what it is about this colour it's the perfect bright red shade for brown girls, wouldn't mind comparing this colour to Fenty Beauty Stunna.

E.L.F. Matte Lip Colour (Rich Red) - Matte Lipsticks can be so drying on our lips, although this one says "matte" (which it isn't) it's still a pretty colour and it's very affordable as well.

CATCHING UP!

Let's start this on a high note... 

Happy New Years to all of you! 2016 might have either been the best or worst year for some of us, but for me it's just been an 'ehhh'  kind of year, but I do hope and pray that this new year brings lots of prosperity, new adventures and awakening for many of us. 

Now back to reality...

It's been such a long time that I feel so weird typing this and getting ready to even post it. I feel like I'm that terrible mother who abandoned her child and is filled with so much guilt that she is ashamed to see her child. Ok, that might have been a tiny bit of a dramatic comparison but that's how I feel. My blog is like my baby, it's one of the few things that I have to my name and I can't help but feel like I've let myself down. This is what gave me life, this is what gave me back my purpose when I was lost, even though I'm still trying to figure things out, but I'm slowly getting there. Oh, and did I mention that I got a new job which happens to be my first job. Yes, I'm finally working!

Anyhoo, let's just see what this new year brings, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that this year is a good one. I can't have another 'ehhh' kind of year it's wayyyyy to 'ehhh-ish'. I don't know if I'm making any sense but I think you get the point. Right? That's all, for now until next time - which I better hope is soon.
